IRISH FARMING & FORESTRY ENTERPRISES LIMITED Process
Equipment is given a full inspection and appraisal of all work that is needed to be carried out, so all parts can be ordered ahead of its workshop slot. A full functionality test is undertaken to ensure the machine performs as it should, and identifies areas for attention.
It is then given a full wash and valet, all debris is cleaned and removed, with a full internal and external cleaning process ready for the workshop.
Any necessary repair work is carried out in our workshop, along with a full service in line with the manufacturer’s recommendations. A further detailed inspection is carried out of bodywork and overall condition and any bodywork or paintwork is repaired at this stage.
A final functionality test and inspection is undertaken, and is then signed off by our workshop, lastly moving on to be given a final full clean and valet ready for sale.
Through Examination (LOLER 98)
With Health and Safety being such a prominent element in the work place today, there is an increasing demand on a wide variety of businesses to stay up to date and on top of legislation. Relevant to our industry, this includes having any lifting equipment checked to ensure that the mechanical parts are in safe working order.
All forklifts working on site are required to have a Thorough Examination, along with other lifting implements such as Telehandlers and Loader Tractors. CFTS sets the industry standard for this inspection, under which all of our fitters are fully qualified CFTS accredited Thorough Examination under the LOLER 1998 regulations.
